in constant flux.
The wines: from the estates of Còlpetrone, Fattoria
del Cerro, La Poderina and Monterufoli.
The food: traditional dishes re-interpreted one after
another for an ad hoc evening menu
The Music: soul and international jazz taking in the best
musical traditions of the twentieth century.
Without rules, they fit an ever-changing pattern.
Taking place in the most evocative settings in cities such as
Rome, Florence,Terni, Siena and Perugia, an ambitious project
which never stands still. The Set Valigie is designed to
immerse guests in the atmosphere of the moment created
through a selection of music, food and wine which changes
from night to night; these three elements play their roles in a
theatre of continual change adapting themselves to each new setting.
A set of typically Italian trunks and suitcases from the fifties reveals a sound system from which music
plays as if searching for new ways of being heard. Ambience and sound, atmospheric restaurants and wine
bars are like stamps and visas in a passport of sound; this is an artistic experience akin to travel and your
luggage becomes ever fuller of sounds and music as you move around the world.Wine is a memory, a canvas
on which to register the moment: a point of focus which like a quiet travelling companion, brings about
relaxation and moments of relection based on essential pleasure.
Performed for the first time in 2007 in Perugia, the city of jazz, Musica dal Vino has enjoyed great success thanks
to the quality of its component parts: wine, food and music. Music is seen as a photograph album full of sound
pictures ending with the Valige Set creation.This harmonization of elements symbolic of the “Made In Italy” concept
becomes a unique emotional experience thanks to DJ Coppola; an experience in which the individual identities
of people,music, atmosphere and flavour are filtered via personal experience through a selection of ambiances:
wine, food...and music!
